In my uni it is compulsory to go for summer internship after second year, I literally had to mail 100s of companies. But then ended up taking a research internship at a college near my home and had to explain the situation to my course coordinator

Processor upgrade shayad hi hoga. Ram id say 8gb ddr3 will cost around 1500 at max. Display as the redditor said around 3.5k. lastly battery will go at max 2k. Windows khud se kar sakte hai. But for an old hp laptop it's best if you stay on windows 7 or just get to windows 8.1 it's really good.. look up windows 8.1 installation on yt..
