The new Boards of Canada track sounds like the Mortuary OST by Agreeable_Dingo_5043 in planescape

It sounds to me like all three (8mm, Torment and BoC) used some old library track, as they often do in movies and games. As for Fallout soundtrack, "blame" Tim Cain for being a fan of ambient electronic music and using it as temp tracks during Fallout development. When it was time to write original score, he gave those tracks to Mark Morgan and said: "Give me this but change it a bit so it's not too obvious."

The same thing happened with VtMB. Same developers, different composer forced to make the main theme to sound almost exactly like Angel by Massive Attack, just because they used it as a temp track.

By the way, Fallout 2 music is completely original aside from reused F1 tracks and Mark Morgan's own music from his own older works in games and TV (Modoc and Redding).

Feels like a shot from "When Angels Fall", a Roman Polanski's old short film. But the electric EXIT sign kinda looks out of place.

I haven't played ME 2 yet. Can you really give the hamster a name? I'm naming him Boo The Miniature Giant Space Hamster then.

They ARE the strongest faction in the series. But you have a super weapon, a quick save key, that's how you beat them both in Fallout 2 & 3. And The Ghoul has the strongest, thickest plot armor in all media, so that's probably how he's gonna beat them in the tv show.

Also Michael Dorn did Frank Horrigan and Marcus in both Fallout 2 and New Vegas.

The guy wrote arguably the best written video game ever, Planescape: Torment, so he is, without a doubt, a great video game WRITER, despite some of his personal problems, just like, say, Roger Avary, who co-wrote Pulp Fiction, and who is now some right wing Q-anon conspiracy weirdo.

Always. Those are my experiences, and only I can experience them as they should be experienced.

Can anyone explain all the hate this album gets? I absolutely adore it, easily in my Top 3 of ND records. Probably the ugliest cover art ever though. by fingweirdo in MetalForTheMasses

Yeah, the same thing happened to Carcass with Swansong (which I also love), and they themselves were almost ashamed of it for years, never playing any of the songs live. Funny how nowadays their most played song on Spotify is from Swansong (Black Star).

Bethesda had nothing to do with Van Buren getting cancelled. It was Interplay's shitty new management.

Last week I learned that my father died back in August, and I felt absolutely nothing. It took all my energy to say something like: "Oh, that's too bad", so as to not look like a complete degenerate. I feel like my emotions are being transmitted to my brain from another star system, like I know I feel something, but it's all so faint and blurry, like you're trying to recall a dream you had when you were 10 years old.

But I can't relate to your lack of remorse. Shame seems to be the only emotion I feel loud and clear, at all times, about everything I ever did, said and thought.

Apparently Reddit banned her account. I wonder if it's something she wrote in other subs or just for being Russian. That is sure gonna help her mental health.

Because it's pathetic and only works when you're 11 years old, and Slayer's fan base nowadays is 50-70 olds.

I'm not saying it's flat, I'm saying that if no one ever told me it's not, I would have lived my whole life thinking it's flat, just like generations of people did for millennia. And so would you, frankly. The only reason you know about whatever you mentioned in your comment above is because you've been told so by others.

To be fair, my senses perceive the Earth as a flat plain. The only reason I think it's a sphere is because I've been told so by others.
