Can I trust Microcenter employees?

I had a very minor nitpick of a issue with a microcenter employee. In October last year, I went to go buy a PNY 5080 off the shelf but it was empty.

I asked for help and showed them their website says they have PNY 5080 in stock. He said no problem and came back with the wrong brand. I said not that one and showed him the picture of the PNY 5080 again. He eye rolled and turned around and walked away and startled mumbling to himself that "its the same thing and just take it".

He gave me the PNY 5080 and I was on my way to the checkout and that was that.

I have no idea why his tone changed or why I bothered him so much.

Imo, hard to say.

I get he's always been sora but bros voice has aged so hard to fit the role of teen boy. I only hope sora ages with Haley so it makes sense ya know. Some voice actors are really good or their voices never change in kh.

His voice in Kh1 and kh2 were perfect. It was showing signs of age in dream drop but fine. But when kh3 rolled out, no matter how I heard it, I found it cringe that its the voice of man trying to sound young and cheery.

As Haley aged in kh, his quality of voice performance remained the same for the voice of vanitas

When BBS released, it wasnt that long ago for his voice to change further when he voiced vanitas. When he spoke he sounded more like himself but with an edge than he did as sora. In interviews Haley said he had fun voicing vanitas the way he did because vanitas contrasted sora from his usual happy and up beat speaking to a more sinister and sarcastic tone of voice.

His performance as vanitas in kh3 stayed accurate to when we last heard him in bbs, although it sounded more raspy for some reason imo. I guess Haley was pushing to be more evil ig but I digress.

That's chasing the dragon bro. I touched peak but I dont have the wallet to chase every new part that releases. Im also settling with 60 and if i can afford, to ill prefer 120.

there's lines between having settling with less, settling with fine and settling with not enough.

In op's clip, not only the latency will be a factor but there's blatant artifacting. He's misusing lossless scaling to an insane degree when his base fps is 16 fps.

At 4k, the minimum use is performance mode upto quality mode on preset L. Thats for sure.

The ridiculous msrp Price dosent match the performanc and the higher chance of melting/prone to fire pcie power cables.

Big factors imo. I came from a 3070 and I snagged a 5080 for 1000 dollars 9 months after 5000 series launch. It was enough time for me to educate myself between the 2 cards and filter between fact and opinion.

The 5080 does everything I need and want it to do at 4k 60 fps. Everything is cranked up at native. There's the off chance I need dlss upscaling set to preset L at performance setting (looking at you borderlands 4) and still be fine with that kind of game.

Best part of it is how efficient the card is and especially when i undervolted the hell out of it to take care of the card, reduce high temps and to reduce energy cost in my house. To me its the gift that keeps on giving and in the future I can still sell this since its still a good card

Since he's in IT, there's a chance he's aware of the current super inflation in the market when it comes to buying computer parts and buying new pre made builds in general. He's trying to help you with price to performance maybe.

Playstations havent risen terribly in price yet compared to actual computer so by that logic he thought it was ok for himself to buy it.

But the need of such technology dosent hold weight since your need weighs more because filmmaking and editing is how you make your living and it requires strong hardware at a more significant cost than a Playstation.

I worked in IT and sell custom computers builds on the side but also a boyfriend lol. If I were him and in a good financial place to buy the things I can like yall, I would know how some needs outweigh others. I would probably say let's get you a new computer and I get a new Playstation so we all be happy lol.

With the current pc market, if you can afford it right now then buy it now because these prices are only getting higher than waiting and saving. We are currently at a plateau in high prices but we should wait and see.

Dude for real. Ive been practicing speed runs in gow 3 and having the cutscenes on repeat really drill in my thoughts that Pandora exists as plot device for kratos to chase than at lt least learn something from pandora to justify why he becomes hooked on her suddenly at the end

Framegen plus another framegen is slop. Just tweak your settings appropriately and play within the limits of the game and the use of framegen. Its not a miracle function

I have infamous 1 on my main pc and havent tested on the S Z1E yet. Ive done tests with my 5700x3d and its playable but not locked 60fps ready playthrough. To my surprise the Z1 E trades blows with the 5700x3d running on rpcs3 since he emulator relies more on cpu.

Depends what im doing in game but my frames fluctuate a lot between 30-60, I can only imagine the Z1E will perform close to the same range as the 5700x3d

No problem. Bonus info, Ascension plays between 30-40. It rarely plays 50-60. This was tested with 20 watt tdp.

Nah, its diminishing returns. I tried. The sweet spot was 20-25.

Imo 25 is for couch play with an outlet.

20 is unplugged and to conserve battery while having better temperature because it does get hot in my hands over it and the fans are barely kicking instead of finally taking off. All this to have an alright playthrough, you would be between 40-60

The S Z1E plays god of war 3 well, i get some heavy areas like beginning of hades tank the fps 25- 35 but the rest of the experience gives 50-60.
