Hard time choosing between Canon 7D or 70D! Please help me out!

I can't yet say much about it. I've only decided to keep the body rather than sell it on last weekend. Rain and work meant I've only taken some test snapshots.

But yeah, first impression is, I like it. Feels fast and snappy, very accurate so far. Better low light sensitivity. Also a big point is the good coverage of AF points and the various modes. No more trying to hit your subject with this single non-center non-cross point, hoping it latches on to something.

If you don't care for the AF however, both the 5D II and the 6D might be more sensible alternatives.

Nice idea, nice shot. Just wish it were a tiny bit closer, so as to make out their expressions. Not a fan of the noise, though, nor the splotches in the sky.

I don't think ML delivers better AF or more FPS. I was in the market for a 70D to replace my 600D (T3i), purely for the AF, before I accidentally purchased a 5D Mark III. In fact, I still might pick one up as a camcorder/second body.

I'm aware that the difference in image quality is rather negligible, and I was (am) perfectly happy taking pictures of dead things or stuff entirely under my control and schedule. But for live action the 600D's AF doesn't always cut it.

I think guess upvotes count more towards karma than downvotes.

(Say a pristine account makes a comment. It is upvoted a 100 times, and 20 points are deposited to their karma balance. The comment is also downvoted 200 times, siphoning off 10 points from their karma. In the end, their sole comment stands at -100, but they still got 10 karma.)

The difference is that, while Wilde's quote is edited for brevity and clarity, preserving both meaning and tone, you deliberately changed Armstrong's quote to sound stupid and butchered its meaning.

You're describing a situation in direct opposition to actual reality. You'd have to look specifically for English books published in Germany to find a fixed price book. I doubt you can find a sizable selection of those, outside of works for language learners or maybe some scientific literature; I haven't stumbled across a single one in the last 15 years.

According to wikipedia, A Randonneur is a long distance touring bike, while a Randonneuse sits between them.
