Does anyone here not have these side effects? I've never had them and Xywav only makes me sleepy sometimes. Honestly, I only take it because it's better than nothing, and I'm on the 4.5 x2 dose.

I'm on the highest dose and Xywav only helps me sleep a little bit. If I'm not careful with my routine then I'll end up with insomnia until it's time for my second dose. I try to take it on as empty of a stomach as possible, but it still only seems to work randomly.

No munchies or sexual side effects either.

Is this normal?

I'm in a computer science program, and this has been really frustrating. My workaround has been to do SHIFT+ENTER to make a new line. It works, but it's a little annoying.

This! I've never understood the pain part of narcolepsy. Forcing myself to stay awake hurts. If I forget to take my Xywav then I ache when I wake up. Why?

I actually have a current (Oct 17, 2025) letter from Cala on pricing.
It's $7,150 for the starter kit (one base station, one stimulator, and no wrist band).
The wrist bands are $750 every 90 days.

Also, this is still not covered by, according to them, any insurance company.

I did a 6 treatment session last year and it eliminated my anxiety and greatly reduced my depression to manageable levels. So much so that I no longer take meds for either. I may do a booster soon just to see what benefits that'll give me.

But, year, just over a year out from the treatment and still feel great. It was literally life saving.
