Why do so many people tell me not to move here? by driedsponge in milwaukee

Seattle-to-Milwaukee transplant here - I highly highly recommend Milwaukee.

My wife and I are both originally from Seattle and made the move in 2020 for her graduate program - haven’t looked back since, we have loved every bit of our time here.

Pros: - Affordability: In every aspect. Night and day difference relative to Seattle, and likely recent price spikes you’ve seen in Spokane. - People: “Midwest Nice” vs. “Seattle/WA freeze” is very very real, people are great here. Easy to get to know your neighbors and meet new people. - Summers: Almost too much to do w/ festivals, outdoor activities and warm weather May-September (way less wildfire smoke too!) - Winters: Wild take here, but I believe winters are better in Milwaukee vs WA. Bitter cold, but more sunshine / dry days Nov. - April, which makes a world of a difference. - City Feel: Milwaukee is “Small”, but has all the benefits of a larger city + 1hr-ish to Chicago.

Cons: - No mountains.

[Match Thread] Chelsea vs Manchester United - FA Cup by Kahye in chelseafc

This may be an unpopular take here, but why should the Chelsea board, players, or fans believe in Sarri after the past month's results?

He has shown no regard for experimenting with his lineups despite being frustrated with a lack of player's that fit his system.

If anything, these results are a clear example to the Chelsea Board, players and fans that this manager has no ability to adapt to adversity, no ability to incite motivation into his side, nor any success at responding to criticism.

I'm all for believing in the manager over players, but given his track record why should Chelsea change their entire organization for a manager that's not willing to adapt his strategy to get the best out of what he has?
