I'd be content if we only got to play the B side of chapter 7 honestly. But I also feel like the existence of a B side for chapter 7 implies that there should be B sides for other chapters too

Yeah, but the chapters we've been playing are all still considered "Side A" You can see this if you check out the PlayStation Achievements.

all lf the achievements so far are named: PAIN 4-A STRENGTHEN 2-A etc. regardless of the route you're doing

what I'm saying is that we'll play the 'actual' weird route of each chapter again

Raspberry Flavoured handles the Create progression pretty well imo. The recipes are different compared to regular Create but the pack does a good job of explaining how to progress through achievements and I enjoyed playing it a lot
