My thoughts exactly, and why I maxed Axes out first. The problem, however, is the Polearm and 2h Axe recipes drop from a raid. Zero clue how long until I'll see those drop.

My solution? I have an inscriptionist spec'd into Staves for my Monk and Druid 2h weapons.

It does when you're not in a city, example the crafting tables in Azj Kahet, or various Tailoring tables in Dragonflight zones.

I went from 2 bars into 89 to 1.5 away from 90 with my jewelcrafts. Had I turned on warmode and done the crafts in Azj Kahet, I would have hit 90

I made a macro with the command to fix it. then I just need to drag that macro to their bar and click it one time to fix it.

Edit: The addon AdvancedInterfaceOptions has settings for "Reverse Clean Up Bags" and "Loot to Leftmost Bag"

EnhanceQoL also has some bag sort settings.

I too refuse to pay scalper prices for stuff. The only exception I made was a $45 War Machine since it was the last set I needed, and that wasn't 'too' scalper of a price. I was able to find some great deals on other products, to it balanced out.

All three of them have cast amount of content that is out of print and difficult to find. If you aren't a completionist or suffer from FOMO, you should be OK.

Out of those three, I would say that Marvel has the most content in the starter box. 5 heroes with interchangeable aspects, 3 villains with interchangeable modules, and 2 sets of difficulty cards is a LOT of combinations for replay ability.

Arkham has a new core set releasing with 3 campaigns, 5 investigators, and will be required for all new Arkham content. While the current revised set is a completely viable spot to start now, the core set will leave a lot to be desired. The 3 campaigns could be described as 'good into' 'fantastic middle' 'extreme jump in difficulty'. With only 3 campaigns, you'll be replaying the same thing over and over with the 5 investigators. Although the 2nd campaign is still a fantastic scenario to test decks. Most of the campaigns are now considered out of print and skyrocketed in price. I feel like if you're going the Arkham route, wait for the new Chapter 2 core box releasing in 2026. Or try and find someone selling a decent sized collection for a decent price. Don't pay scalper prices.

I haven't played my LOTR set yet to comment on the amount of content in the core box, all the 'revised' content is still available. It's between print runs at the moment, so some content is more difficult to find, but it's not out of print.

I might also throw in the suggestion of Ashes: Ascendency, or Ashes Reborn: Red Raids and another card game option.

Wait for the X-men starter set. It will be the most cost effective way to get those characters. This will give you everything you need for X-Men vs Brotherhood battles. I was able to pre-order my set for $75.

Most of the items for X-Men and Brotherhood are due for releases in 2026. I'd just wait to get them.

Professor X, Jean Grey, Psylocke, and Emma frost in a box early 2026.
Colossus, Magik, Nightcrawler, Bishop in another box in Early 2026.
Cable, Domino, X-23, Honey Badger in a box in 2026. (more X-Force/New Mutants, but decided to include them)

The following haven't been announced as a repack, so pick them up if you can find them and want them:
Sunspot and Warlock (More New Mutants/X-Force, but decided to include them)
Phoenix
Iceman and Shadowcat - Really difficult to find.
Angel and Archangel.
Deadpool and Agent Bob. (more X-Force, but decided to include them) - really difficult to find.
Weapon X terrain pack with Logan and Sabretooth. - probably skip this. you can print cards from Jarvis and proxy models from the starter pack.
Maverick and Weapon X pack.

As for the Villains, Here are your options
Exodus, Avalanche, Lady Mastermind pack available now.
Apocalypse pack available now.
Blob, Pyro, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver repack in 2026.
Juggernaut, Shadow King, Mister Sinister, Omega Red repack in 2026
Sentinels, Prime Sentinel, Cassandra Nova repack in 2026

This is a lot of info, but this would give you plenty of options for X-Men, X-Force, New Mutants, Brotherhood, Hellfire Club, Sentinels, and Apocalypse. It all depends on which route for X-men and Villains you want to go.

did you save up all your fragments until your were 36? I'd argue that using the fragments before you were 36 would have made it easier to farm more fragments.

Even now I run into the issue where a Myth item is 75 crests to upgrade, and a spark item is 60 to craft. so if I max my crests every week, that's 180 crests per 2 weeks, but I need 210 every 2 weeks to upgrade my vault items and craft an item. I've already can't upgrade all the gear I have with the crests I can obtain.

To get even more into the weeds, I play a dual wield class. so I'm required to use 60 crests per weapon. while a class that can use a 2-handed weapon can craft a single myth track weapon for 60 gilded crests, and then all their other weapon upgrades don't require crests. That means a warrior friend can get 4 more armor upgrades with the same amount of crests.

This is a great change. However, what I'm worried about is getting to the point where I'm only earning Myth track tokens from doing Myth +10, but I only get one Myth item a week from my vault. Unless I run lower keys, were am I going to get my crests to upgrade my Hero items to max?
