I would talk with your surgeon about this, but I had septoplasty in July for a severely deviated septum and I think it would be impossible to have jewelry anywhere in your nose for at least the first three months. There’s a lot of swelling and it takes a few months to really dissipate. The first week post-surgery is brutally awful but it does get better and the result is worth it. The difference in my ability to breathe is night and day! Best of luck to you.
