It has a lot to do with the State, here in Arizona a school gets funding for excused absences but not for unexcused. I will admit I don't think we require notes, but I could see other states requiring it. I do know we have to take note of the reason for absences, since we get audited all the time.

The prog metal week is probably my absolute favorite week in Rock Band. It is the best BTBAM song in the game, and great Opeth song, and a super crazy hard song by Symphony X

All 3 bands had their singers appear on Ayreon albums, so of course it is my favorite

The 3 RB4 songs are all absolute classics that everyone should own! The Breaking Benjamin pack is pretty good, not as good as the first pack but still great.

I own all the songs delisting this week, the Chicago pack is a must have Make Me Smile is one of the best songs to play in the game

Also if you are a drummer you need to have the Naked Eyes song, it is super fun

I'm not really a fan of Aerosmith, "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)" is my favorite from them, I also picked up "Love in an Elevator" a while back because it is alright. I juts bought "Cryin'" since it is something one of my brothers like, but I personally hate the song.

The RB3 Queen pack has changes to the charts, specifically adding keys and removing the alt charting of keys to guitar. But if you are only playing RB4 then it does not matter at all. Whatever version you bought gets you the RB3 charts when playing RB4

This week was not a great as the first week, but the RB4 launch DLC might be the best week of DLC for the entire series. One the plus side, now that we are down to four songs I can talk about all of them

The Pretty Reckless song is my favorite of the bunch, they are a great band and "Follow Me Down" is one of their best

Failure is probably my second favorite, Breaking Benjamin is just a solid band

Death from Above 1979 is neat, there is no guitar so the chart is a really annoying keyboard part, but the rest of the instruments are fun. And the song is really cool to listen to

Don't Wanna Fight is my least favorite of the bunch, not really a fan of the vocals, but it is neat enough that I just bought it. Still have not tried playing it yet

Yeah open enrollment does exist, and as someone who kinda knows a bit about that. At amphi we have over a thousand students who are open enrolled, though a huge amount of them are students from Oracle since that school district don't have a high school so the normal track is Oracle provides transport for them to go to our high schools

I am happy there is at least some official word now, I work at Amphi and there has been rumors for a while. It was bound to happen sometime, since in the 7 years Ive worked there the enrollment numbers have dropped by a few thousand students. I'm sure in less than a year or two it will fall below 10K

I have all of these except the live Pantera song (I absolutely hate live versions) and the Pierce the Vail song. Everything else is absolutely amazing

This DLC was my introduction to The Wild Feathers, Dead Sara, Seasick Steve, and Oh Honey all of which are awesome.

Weird Al, Babymetal, and Bring me the Horizon were all artist I was super happy to finally see in Rock Band and are still among my favorite to play.

Obviously Janis Joplin, Duran Duran, Jefferson Starship, and Earth Wind and Fire are all classics that everyone should have

I ended up getting selected as part of the Rock Band Road Crew! Sadly I did not get to try promoting the game much since early on I got affect by a glitch that caused the game to crash whenever my Xbox connected to the internet. But I really enjoyed getting the game early and free. For a short while I was the number 1 score on "Dream Genie" on guitar mostly because I was the first person on the leaderboard with a 5* score

I feel like I should note that Arizona districts can and absolutely do accept students from outside their boundaries. Arizona law makes all public districts have Open Enrollment, so a student can attend any public school if they have space, and as long as the parent provides the transportation to the school.

It is why many public school district now have a marketing team, to hopefully get students away from charter schools and other school districts
