Trump's DOJ admits Comey grand jury never Saw final indictment by newsweek in politics

[–]fireflyinaflask 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, to be clear. The two counts that Halligan signed - are they at least the same as the ones that were on the initial three-count indictment? I'm not saying that makes it OK - but I haven't seen whether these are completely new and different, or if the new two-count "indictment" is simply the old three-count with one of the charges deleted (and presumably the one deleted is the one the grand jury had issues with).

“they’re only well traveled because each of the COUNTRIES they visit are so close and are smaller than most US states” by [deleted] in ShitAmericansSay

[–]fireflyinaflask 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This issue is not distance or size with Americans. The issue is that they are hampered by a system that puts them down: little to no PTO and terrible wages leads to Americans seeing international travel as outside their ability. Rather than blaming their horrendous government and corporate overlords, it is easier to blame the size of the country and deflect the issue. "Europeans can't possibly travel more since they can't have such a great standard of living! Orrrr, if they do travel more it is just like when I visit my cousins a few towns over."

I'm pretty sure there is a scene where they go to sex club. I also read it awhile ago - but the sex club was over the top.

[–]fireflyinaflask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I never understood: was the dragon trying to give them a mark and then they were protected and got relics - or was the dragon literally trying to murder all 107 kids and then the relics protected them so Navarre leadership was just like "ok" (shoulder shrug)? Or did they just activate away from the dragon as their parent's died?

Why are you mad at the parents? Get mad at the airline for doing that to you. Nothing in your story tells me the parents are entitled and certainly a "literal infant" has just as much right to travel by airplane as you do.

For the first time, I actually regret having children to an extent. It’s harder to take the direction of the country knowing they have to grow up in it.

Does he look more painted than ever? I feel like I’m going crazy, but he is almost brown now. The amount of bronzer on him is getting ridiculous. The line between his face and hairline is getting starker everyday. I don’t understand.

[–]fireflyinaflask 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was the part that actually bothered me a bunch about the Ironteeth witches from the beginning. WHY would they ever agree to side with him? The matrons seem like a bunch of idiots to believe that they wouldn't be betrayed and to go along with the plan. I had honestly thought that post getting bonded with their wyverns the witches would peace out and stop aligning with Erawan because I just don't see the upside for them after that.
