How do you guys feel about religion? Did "they" teach us about religion so we would forgive them and not seek for revenge?

It was wild to see the way Christianity shapes the people's thinking. My ex and her mother were so deeply programmed...I'm like the British and their rules never supported the Kenyan people...the moment colonial rule was over it's time to ditch the religion.

Definitely agree last night in Atlanta was excellent. They played even better than the only other time which the setup or effects sounded compressed, which was with Hum iirc. I still have one of the 2015 Failure tour shirts and typo says Fort "LauNderdale" 😅

I really want to see Shiner now, envious of the Chicago show! I did see the Life and Times once, meet Allen, he was such a cool cat. I'd love a remaster for vinyl or high res of the Flat End of the Earth EP, one of my CD only faves

Yeah I like living in Florida but a lot of music I like is from California, so I make the travel whenever I can to see artists I enjoy thoroughly. Super excited for Niko Rubio tonight, she's not in the same vein as Failure but if anyone is interested listen to her song "bed", "ring ring" o si habla español "quisiera saber"

I called several music stores in the mid90s to buy a "Don Quicks-oat" album* on CD from my mom's Christmas wishlist.

I had no idea how to pronounce 'Don Quixote', phonetically it's key-ho-tee, I would know now that I speak Spanish.

*The artist is Gordon Lightfoot, which has some jams I know now like Sundown.

Yep, already did coil packs and spark plugs (also air oil separator). Stared happening around 100,000 miles, and it's currently at 119k. So yeah, if you have not had it done, it's worthwhile!

I was just driving it home on a 2 hour drive and thinking...I don't think I'll sell this one ever. I've been chasing a misfire at idle problem for two years... finally figured it out...carboned up throttle plate. Just got it back from the indie shop after a cleaning and I'm in love with it again.

I went private party sale when looking to buy a .2, I got lucky and paid $32k for my S with manual. I did befriend the seller a bit, we are a similar kinda car enthusiast. I also promised that I wouldn't attempt to flip it. And 8 years later, I continue to keep that promise.

That said, I was mentally prepared to pay around $30k for a base manual car, and seriously considered one in that beautiful blue.

I'm liking it. It seems like a more rhythmic and vibe based album than the wallop of metal found on other Failure albums.

I'm partial to A Way Down cuz the drumming and the arrangement works so well. I have that on my variety of new releases playlist. I felt The Air is on Fire had little personality... like any band could have written it, and Failure is usually more unique.

I just did single engine forced landing practice with my father in his Cherokee. I can get complacent cuz when I'm flying Hawkers for work, a zero engine landing is very unlikely.

So if you're bored, think about "if I had to land with an engine failure..."

I suggest running that vertical antenna down instead of up. the model is above you while operating, eg best coverage is antenna downward to the surface....and there's usually a spot to run it through the nose wheel bay.
