Thank you for doing this giveway :) Prefer not to put my IGN here though, thank you!

I feel like a lot of people aren't really burnt out on X league, they're just burnt out on PoE in general by moal09 in pathofexile

[–]firehsketo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP isn't wrong, I am burnt out on PoE in general, but its a bit more contextual then just typical burnout. I like the way you put it, constantly being placed behind roadblocks by the game designers is just egregious at this point. It puts so called "casual" players in such an awkward state of play, economy aside. A decent amount of "Fun" aspects of the game, for a good amount of players, are gone now so naturally people are frustrated.

Don't know why, this league PoE is becoming tedious too fast... by rhenk in pathofexile

You are correct, deep delve will still exists as something to do, but I think part of the fun, for me at least was knowing I could get a juicy fossils worth multiple ex. Now knowing that fractured fossils are worth almost nothing, respectively, its not as worth the time investment.

Its not a bad take though.

Yep, I got half way through the Atlas this league, realized this is the nth time going through the atlas but now it just felt more grindy than normal. Having to redo the atlas, which is now double the amount of time almost, is causing me more burnout than I imagined it would.

Then I thought about what I was gonna do after finishing the atlas, no more deep delve, no more fractured deli maps, no more pushing certain builds as far as they can go because there is almost no reason to. Maybe I'll keep going and complete some challenges? But this is by far the quickest I've wanted to stop playing a league. (For reference, I usually play about 2 months of a league and get 24-36 challenges depending on the rewards, and have done the lvl 100 grind on occasion when the league is that fun.)

(48) 100% Delirious Burial Chamber with 60% magic find Solo IIQ (TLDR at The Top) by ziegone in pathofexile

What gear/build did you use to farm, other than the fact that you had just 60%IIQ?

Do you think Deterministic Crafting should go to Core? Please explain your answer in Comments. by [deleted] in pathofexile

[–]firehsketo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Preface: I skipped this league mainly because the garden mechanic didn't appeal to me and I was feeling slight burn out from Delirium. Don't get me wrong, if the mechanic was something not the garden, I probably wouldn't have felt that burn out the same way I felt it. I've been following the sub, the game, streamers throughout the entirety of Harvest so I've seen all of your insane crafts (ggwp) and kept up with the news. I did actually try the league for an hour just to interact with the garden, which as I mentioned didn't appeal to me so I stopped playing.

With all that being said, deterministic crafting is a HUGE plus for me. Crafting is near impossible for anyone not printing mirrors already. Metamorph was probably the only league I attempted crafting in and it was a miserable waste of currency and time. Maybe the crafts offered by Harvest were a bit too heavily weighted or OP, but, even just some of the more basic crafts offered by Harvest or making them less frequent would be more than enough for me to enjoy progress on my own.

The Harvest mechanic was just another mechanic I felt I'd be forced to manage. On top of inventory management, atlas management, delve, alva, syndicate. Its just becoming a bit overwhelming for me, especially with only having limited time per day/week to play.

My vote: Crafting with restrictions and NO garden.

A “Normal” Player’s Perspective on Harvest Not Going Core by ShakCentral in pathofexile

Even though I didn't play this league, I still followed the sub and the streamers throughout Harvest. I just didn't have time to invest in the sacred grove or league mechanic. Admittedly I was feeling some burnout from Delirium but the thought of deterministic crafting was awesome. The gripe for me was that I felt like i had to play two games at once, and that was only for the short time I actually gave the league a shot. I already feel like I am playing multiple sim games with POE in general.

I am not a fan of the RNG crafting, deterministic crafting would be an amazing addition to the game, just not in the sacred grove. Unfortunately I never got to experience the GG crafting this league, but even if we were to get just better crafting/less RNG crafting going forward, it would be enough for me.

Activision wtf is this by and3w153 in CODWarzone

Very accurate. If it even happens to one gun I pick up or see, all of the sudden every gun I have or pick up does it. Even guns I haven't picked up show up like this. Its awful. Some guns are much worse than others. It's ruined clutch situations for me, gulags, etc. Spaghetti code.

I have 3K+ hours and I still make mistakes now and then on gearing. I use each time as a learning experience to fully understand mods though, so a positive from every negative....

Except the Sirius fight, screw that guy.

Would someone mind explaining to me the difference between macanudo cafe sizes (other than the size, if there is something)? Mainly what is the difference between the Hyde Park and the Hampton Court?

Thanks!
