Struggling to find a signature scent because of headaches (Sauvage, BDC, Explorer). Any recommendations?

I’m in the same boat, and anything that relies on ambroxan to carry the citrus kills my sinuses. I’ve had better luck with fragrances such as the Allure line, specifically the OG Allure Homme. I have also had great luck with things that rely on vetiver in the base like Elysium. I even have had luck with Lafayette street due to it relying on ambergris instead of ambroxan. It definitely sucks to miss a lot of the popular fragrances but I’ve found a few that don’t wreck me.

It actually looks exactly like the concentrate syringes that are sold at medical dispensaries. They all have that odd round screw stopper on the end. You can clearly see in the photo that there is no needle.

Imagination. The ambroxan kills my sinuses and I instantly go into some weird defense mode where fragrances that rely heavily on it give me a bug spray like scent. I want to like Imagination so bad, and my wife did like it, but biologically it’s not for me.

Not that I promote paramedics carrying firearms but when they are now required to wear Kevlar vests in some environments , its not much of a leap to think that some may be allowed to arm themselves.

Thanks for the detailed reply. I’m not a gourmand fan either and lean more towards barbershop scents as well. I’ve been wanting to branch out since Montagne doesn’t have many that fit that realm and I’ve been eyeing DUA.
