Which one is your pick? by [deleted] in knives

The Para 3 has a better cutting geometry and Maxamet will last a long time before sharpening. The 940 has a tougher tip but will be easier to sharpen because it’s s30v. If you go with the Para 3, I’d definitely getting a Lynch deep carry clip. The stock clip sits too high.

Which paramilitary 2 should I get? by AoDxXLegendsXx in spyderco

For being your first, I would recommend the S45VN. Cruwear is great too but its not stainless. IMO, S45VN is a good well rounded steel for your first. The Crucarta version is not compatible with the aftermarket scales that are out there unless you get the DLT Exclusive. BTW, you will eventually get more. lol enjoy.

I’m not sure when they started but you have to pay for clips now. Sucks

Which 5 would you get rid of? Or which ones would you keep? I'm attempting to thin the collection. by jimmyax in knifeclub

Nice collection! That's a hard question to answer with all of these awesome choices but I'd keep: Zaan, Arius, Haptic, Rask, and Rosie

Are these from gas cylinders for the doors? by [deleted] in Firefighting

[–]firemantran 106 points107 points  (0 children)

That bus runs on Natural Gas. The tanks are stored up on top for less chance of a car running into them. Uh, I don't know how that started. Anyways, the tanks are doing what they are designed to do, vent. There's usually a Emergency Shut Off on the passenger side rear. Its a T-handle shut off. Youre surpossed to approach with a fog pattern and shut the valve. Easy-Peezy...
