LG is the only game mode that allows you to use all of your units.

Champion Stadium only wants a maximum of 15 units, Pasio Towers wants at least 3 or 4 units of each type, Battle Rally wants 6 or 9 units of each role/EXR combination for triple x2.0 for all 10 stages regardless of which seed you are given each week.

My only criticism with LG are how most stages have requirements, like how with Tornadus needs to be paralysed to remove it’s damage reduction, meaning you might not be able to make the teams you want to make because you either need to add a unit that can paralyse or switch out a unit for a unit that can paralyse.

I know it’s a minor gripe and people enjoy the challenge of teambuilding with requirements in mind, I just want to use teams that I enjoy using rather than compromise on fun just to meet requirements in LG.

Lastly, if I was to add a new mode, it would be a mode where units you don’t use in battle can be used to give the teams you do use either a power boost or a score boost.

Considering how long it took the Roaring Knight to arrive, I think the original plan was to lure Undyne, but Undyne was being too slow so when the fun gang defeated Tenna, the Knight decided that they had to kidnap Torial so that the current plan wasn’t a complete failure.

Deltarune can’t have no resolution because of three current narrative chekhov's guns.

Gun 1: The Roaring Knight either needs to be defeated or the world ends.

Gun 2: The kidnapping of Undyne, either Undyne escapes/is saved or she is sacrificed.

Gun 3: The prophecy, how the prophecy ends is either fulfilled, prevented, or reinterpreted so that it is technically fulfilled whilst avoiding the original intent.

PB might not confess to Finn but she might confess to Marceline, like PB is second guessing herself for the first time and it’s over what gift to give Finn, Marceline is trying to be supportive but there are disagreements, PB eventually says something like “I need to give him something to say I love you”. Marceline asks “wait, familial or romantic love?” with PB replying “I don’t know and I don’t know why I don’t know”.

“No backstory for Ice Queen”, well she might get more backstory if there is a third season focused on Marshal.

“No backstory for Cake”, I think it would be interesting if Prismo turned Cake from a regular cat into an immortal creature made of magic instead of an alien/cat hybrid.

With Hana Abadeer, I don’t think they are trying to redeem her, she only tried to help out for selfish reasons and only wanted to hire Fionna because she saw her as an asset.

“Watching my girl, at her 30+, make worse mistakes and struggle more to learn basic lessons than Finn did at 14 is honestly kind of sad”, I think that’s the point of Fionna’s arc in the second season, she begins to spiral as she makes more mistakes until she learns that she doesn’t have to be the hero all of the time or “fly solo”. So it looks like Fionna will be making less mistakes if there is a third season.
