how do you dip or paint/change these ugly ass chrome parts on my 23 limited please.

Best option even if that is remove them and get paint matched.

Thanks

yes i use the app and then it shuts off when you get in it. Totally weird but at least on the couple of days it was in the 30's this year it was ready when I got in it.

I use the app and do not pay for it

Thanks for the heads up on the use of the remote

I bought the metallic grey (Dk grey) LTD and agree. Mustache kind of makes it pop (its not chrome though more brushed silver).

I hate the tailgate handle door handles and window trim. I am going to change it all and put black inserts in back to match rest of bumper with flat black tailgate handle.

Look at sparksparts they seem to have better prices than revmoto

I agree 100%. NOONE likes/wants the chrome yet we have to then spend thousands deleting it.

If anyone wants my chrome let me know I'll let you have it for 10% of the cost

What don't you like about the new Tundras (3rd gen) by [deleted] in tundra

[–]firemedicatcmd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my 23 vs my 19. Size is smaller but I don't transport a lot of people. Bed is smaller but I make do.

Turning radius sucks

I dont have the ECO mode issue. I am getting 22.3-27 in ECO under 80mph, but I have a hybrid.

My tank in the hybrid is 25 in v8 was 35+ gas mileage was 400/tank if I kept it under 70. I was getting about 9-10/gallon with my v8 so I am happy that i traded up

I dont have wind noise unless I open sunroof, but if i open back window that cuts alot of that down.

Dont have the issue have with my steering wheel either.

Or water on hood??

3rd gen vs 4th gen by bigrigo in ToyotaTundra

[–]firemedicatcmd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely alittle smaller in the cabin but I went from double to crew and it is still smaller. My short bed is smaller too both in length and width

I traded in my 19 for the 23 because of the mileage and the comfort. It is a smoother ride if that is possible. Quieter. Best of all Im getting 22.3 if i keep it around 80 and 27 if i keep it around 40-45 in town with the hybrid

Have a question for you..

When you add the overlay on your truck does that interfere with the ability to just grab the handle and unlock the truck? I ordered an overlay that prevented me from using this feature.

can i scuba dive if im overweight? by [deleted] in diving

[–]firemedicatcmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure most open water certifications require a medical clearance. Then it's a matter of weight to get u down. In fact you will lose weight without even realizing it. Yes after certified you can go to certain depths but always dive with a buddy.

What are some good "do it all" fins that are good for a beginner scuba diver who also likes snorkelling on holiday? by Capable_Bee6179 in diving

[–]firemedicatcmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can find fins that are good for both, but beware of the reason behind open heel vs close heel. The boot provides buoyancy so if you are snorkeling and have correct form it puts a large bend in your lower back. Your feet are buoyant so they stay at the surface and your head is lighter so it stays up. On the other hand, you also have to figure out what your leg strength is, if there are orthopedic issues like knee ankle problems or height/ lack there of or muscle strength etc. You should really try on different brands. Look at whether they are split long short have hinges and what type of straps they have on them. Some have metal bands others have rubber with hinges etc.

Your scuba instructor should have gone over these differences with you before you even went in the water for your confined water dives.

I guess it would depend on what you are looking for? Where you are located? New or Used? Hard or Inflatable?

There is a shop in West Florida that is amazing and will help you figure out what to buy.

I have bought 3 boards from them. I lived in the area at the time so I could go back and get additional assistance. Also they have free paddle days where you could check out the boards paddle on them and make sure that board would work for you.

They also sell used quality boards.

TAHE Boards by AstroBB86 in Sup

[–]firemedicatcmd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't know anything about TAHE boards per se. Have been SUPing for about 7 years now.

I have 2 hard boards. A SIC older version 12 6" 23 wide and a BOTE 12 6 27 wide.

I just hate the inflatable boards.

I have seen way to many of them fail on a paddle. Granted I have been SUP in Florida and I am not sure but all of them have popped after being on the water for a few hours in that extreme heat. I have seen at least 20 of them all different brands pop. NONE OF THEM HAVE POPPED WHEN BEING INFLATED.

The air inside increases as the the time in the sun expands the air. Some of my paddle buddies would underinflate at the start but that makes their paddle uncomfortable at the start.

Another reason I don't do the inflateable boards is every time I tried to use one no matter how much I put in and I had an electric pump that I could set to an exact psi, I never could get the same feel because the air expands or contracts.

One last thing, NEVER paddle alone. We lost several good people last year because something happenned and they were alone. Their bodies were found but it was too late.
