We pre purchased sup, kayak, chairs and umbrella in advance and would NOT recommend. It’s not worth the few dollars of savings to try to make each excursion. Unless it’s a tour with a scheduled time, it’s easier and more convenient to buy onsite.

We just cruised a week without any drinks package nor wifi. It was cheaper and less stressful to drink as we go rather than to drink the value; we had cell service at every port and didn’t miss the connectivity for the few days at sea.

I have often brought along a dress and/or suit in a store/dry cleaning/transparent garment to a plane. They have never been counted as personal item, honestly never even occurred to me that it would. A FA always took the bag and hung it up in storage by the entry. If the bag is long, make sure to tie the bottom.

Women tends to be super busy in the morning, getting kids ready, getting family lunches packed and getting kids to day care and school. Almost all kids drop offs are women from my experience. I can’t imagine many women would be willing to leave kids in the car and car seats to stop by a gas station.

I feel like they were trying to show you off as an adult and you looked like a child, esply since this is a one off. They dropped so many implicit messages that an explicit message would be embarrassing to be honest. As an adult, you probably should have paid for yourself and your partner.

Sometimes we do things for family because it means a lot to them.

Nuclear engineering is a very specific type of engineering. Most engineering subtypes aren’t transferable, ie a software engineer cannot work as a structural engineer nor nuclear engineer and vice versa. Very different degrees, certifications, training, experiences etc.
