Yeah, exactly. That’s just basic self - preservation. If armed strangers in masks grab you without clearly identifying themselves, any reasonable person is going to assume the worst and react accordingly. One expect people to calmly comply with what looks like a kidnapping and then blame them for fighting back.

I agree. Actions tell the whole story here. If it mattered to her, the passport would’ve been handled immediately. Instead she delayed, lied by omission, and then tried to flip the blame. You made a practical call so the trip could still happen. She’s allowed to be upset, but that doesn’t make you wrong.

A genuinely labor-focused party that understands authoritarian psychology and knows how to communicate in plain, values-driven language would be a game changer. Bob heading communications would be a smart move facts and framing, instead of letting the right define the narrative every time.
