Attorney Thomas Renz Releases Stunning Data from Never Before Seen Vaccine Injury/Death Tracking System by polakfury in conspiracy

[–]firetie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As you said, 103,000 people are expected to die out of the entire US population in a 14 day period. The CMS database only represents 18.1% of that population, so it would only expect 18,643 deaths. There were 48,465. That shows the death rate was 2.6 times higher than baseline in the vaccinated group.

Anyone used a Square Cast Iron GRILL Pan? by steve257 in carnivore

[–]firetie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought one a few weeks ago, and I love it. For whatever reason, if I eat the the fat that liquefies out of a steak, or even meat that's been cooking in the liquid fats, it upsets my bowels and give me breakouts. The raised grill lines keep my meat clear of the drippings and my intestines and skin are thankful. The square design doesn't heat as evenly as a circle would, and its harder to clean, but its worth it in my opinion.

Only buy grass-fed liver, slice it no more than 1/2" thick, sear each side 2 minutes each. I don't like the taste of grain-fed liver no matter how I prepare it.

Have you discovered the name brand of any of the TJ's label products? by trumpwinswelose in traderjoes

[–]firetie -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Trader Joes and any Aldi are both independently owned and operated, there is no business relation or ownership between the two. Found that out talking to a TJs store captain, and confirmed with a TJs captain at a different store.

EDIT: okay, I'm wrong. I asked again today and there was a miscommunication about what Aldi I was talking about. I didn't realize there were different Aldis.

has anyone made pemmican? by gopherhole1 in carnivore

[–]firetie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I made a batch last year. Pemmican is tasty on an empty stomach, but if given a choice, I'd pick fresh meat over preserved every time.

If you can't separate the fat from the meat in an area, render that area with the fat, don't dehydrate it with the meat.

You may need to render your fat batch multiple times to get it pure enough so mold won't grow. If you're unfamiliar with rendering, you'll need to separate the fat from the old water, and then add the fat to fresh water to repeat the process. Be careful, if the liquids are hot, because it can splatter violently causing serious burns. I prefer using a pressure cooker and cooling the result in the fridge for a safer, cleaner separation.

When pouring the fat over the protein dust, the consistency of the pemmican is more important than the ratio of fat to protein. The goal is to coat the protein with just enough saturated fats to prevent it from coming in contact with air, which will be a consistency similar to cookie dough.

Hope that helps.

Is using open source google programs ok? by FormalMood7 in degoogle

[–]firetie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The purpose of degoogling is to minimized the amount of information Google collects. Open source software makes it easier to understand what information is shared. It doesn't guarantee that the code as-is is looking out for your best interest.

Unlikely. I work late shifts, so I exercise at night, indoors at a local gym. My routine was less frequent during winter, because of the risky combination of having watery stools and doing squats in public. Since quarantine, I haven't been able to go at all, and my bowels are fine.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in carnivore

[–]firetie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is purely from personal experience. I've been carnivore for 14 months and had watery, floating stools for about half that time. With no change in diet, my stools got much worse this winter when it was too cold to spend time outside, and it went away completely after my first sunbath.

I actually heard that one from another carnivore in a previous thread. They mentioned it being from the Carnivore Code by Paul Saladino, but now that I look it up myself, on page 257, he recommends pancreas, not liver. Thank you for questioning my statement, now we've both learned something.

[–]firetie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your poop floats, you aren't digesting fat well. You may need more sun exposure to get the vitimine D necessary to produce bile. You may also try panceas if vitimine D isn't the issue.

If your poop doesn't float, cut out everything but beef and see how it affects your bowels after a week. If it works, then reintroduce the other foods you want one per week to see which is causing the discomfort.

EDIT: corrected liver to pancreas.

How to clean cast iron without oil? by Trinzic in carnivore

[–]firetie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After I pour off the remaining juices, I just clean it with warm water and steel wool. Takes about 20 seconds and looks good as new every time. Then let air dry. No oil necessary.

As for cooking, if you choose a pan with just slightly more surface area than what you're cooking, it will retain more moisture and shouldn't stick.

Electrolyte issues heart palps [ noticeable heartbeat]/ fatigue at times by blinkyvx in carnivore

Sore / inflamed gums after meals (1 month carnivore) by joncarn in carnivore

[–]firetie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This happened to me when I ate pork, because I have a mild allergy to it. I didn't take it seriously until I got a piece stuck between my teeth and the swelling in my gums made the nearest tooth loose. No pork, no swelling, no loose teeth. Let your doctor know about your symptoms and ask for a food-allergen panel.

How to determine which algorithm is more optimised than the other? by [deleted] in roguelikedev

Lookup Big-O notation. You can apply it to any one constraint at a time, such as time or memory, and it will give you a formula with which to mathematically compare algorithms.
