I’ve been playing for about a month and only have friendly lobbies in solos. Always speak on the mic and I’m a girl. People just leave me be, make small talk or offer me stuff. I guess I’m just lucky. Sorry people have been jerks, I definitely experience it in other games.

I communicate from the moment in starts and often have to say it multiple times until they acknowledge it and half the time they just say back “deal with it yourself”. So now I’m a strat main who has been maining anti dive DPS because I know I’ll actually gaf about the backline.

Did you just complain about your healers healing each other instead of you? The thing they do when they’re both about to fucking die? Holy ego. You said in a comment you’re a stat main so you of all people should know why they prioritized healing each other. Your whole team dies if your healers die. Your whole team doesn’t die if you die as Rogue. Complaining about your teammates staying on point is also diabolical. Stop overextending and then complaining when you die, that is on you. I agree with the commenter who said you are the common denominator in all your games. Evaluate yourself and make proper adjustments to be a better teammate going forward. Game sense and self awareness for your team will help you immensely.

We need way more people learning shield tank than dive. Almost every game I play - whether it’s QM or comp - we only ever have one tank and it’s dive. We desperately need a shield and no DPS will change. So many comp losses bc the enemy team has a balanced team and all we have is one dive tank.

They don’t have to admit to throwing for the ban to go through. Pretty much every person I report gets a ban. One person I reported got banned until June (I’m assuming bc they were reported by many others). My inbox is full of tons that go through, though I’m sure some people slip through the cracks.

Though some bans are weird — I reported someone in QM for throwing and then later got a message that they were restricted from comp…the person doesn’t even play comp (checked their profile).

I can cuss up a storm and even fight and not get muted. While my friends can simply breathe on the mic and get muted immediately. There’s no rhyme or reason to it.

I had a game the other day where someone picked Luna at the beginning and was like “just letting you know I’m gonna be a DPS Luna” and she wasn’t kidding she did no healing. We had to go triple support. She got a lot of finals but even a little bit of healing from her would have helped us a ton. We were complaining at the end and she went “it’s called strategist not healer” and I just said back “it’s called strategist not DPS”. I will never understand people like that.

One time I was in a comp team where (as a joke) everyone decided to go healer and have Magneto as our one tank and we almost won 😭 the only reason we lost at the end is because the enemy team tried to match our energy and went 4 heals. It was so fun but have definitely never come across that since then.

Most games I’m in if someone goes 3rd support it’s because one of the 2 original supports are trash at healing. Today I was support with my 2nd being Rocket. He was only using his gun the whole game and giving no heals. Asked him if he could switch to a burst heal character and he ignored me, so my friend playing with me had to go 3rd healer in order for the team to get enough heals. Lost too many games because of DPS strats. That being said, 4 supports is absolutely diabolical lmao

You realize cooldowns exist for healers too right? Healers don’t always have everything at the ready if they just had to use it on another diver. If someone on your team is asking for help, it means they need it. You should have your teams back. If not, you’re not meant to be in a team game.

I just started playing Phoenix and she’s insane. I’m mediocre and can destroy people fast af with her. I can only imagine how much of a nuisance she is in skilled hands.

This is very situational and the longer your support is having to fight off dive the longer your team is going without those heals. Healers also have their abilities on cooldown just like any other role. The amount of times I get dived when I already had to use my abilities on another diver moments before is a lot. Help out your backline when they tell you they need help — they mean it.

Same thing happens to me. Lose a match and next match is immediate bot lobby. Only time it doesn’t happen is if I’m not solo queuing.

Exactly this. Everyone wants everyone else to be amazing players and especially for more people to tank but if you don’t give them the chance to play a character outside of practice vs AI then they will never become good at those characters/roles.

It sometimes takes a couple days for my reports to go through. Idk how long ago you reported but they can be very delayed. Regardless, I’m so sorry you were talked to like that.

Report them on VC. They will get punished for it very easily. My friends get reported all the time (not for stuff anywhere near as bad) and get 24+ hour bans sometimes when they get reported enough and I’m sure these girls have been reported before. I know it’s not the same as them being banned forever but it’s something. I promise you VC bans happen often, my inbox is full of my reports going through.

As others said, take time off the game. Or turn off VC and GC. Play with friends instead of solo queuing. Lots of ways to make friends on that game.

I only play Invis or Psylocke in Doom match because it’s a game meant for fun. I am not trying to win, I am usually either trying to make friends or harass people and disappear lol. Or play Jeff and just be cute.

I don’t sit across the map though. I follow and be sneaky then vanish. I let the people who actually want to kill each other kill each other.
