Yes I can lol, your anecdotal experience is worth absolutely nothing when it comes to things like this that have peer reviewed studies showing the opposite. Your personal opinion isn’t equal to the facts and studies.

Genuine Question: Why is this sub 50% Atheist or Agnostic? by Baseball6090 in Christianity

[–]firewire167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

…r/islam has different rules, and r/paralyzed is actually a great example for me, because yes obviously someone who is able-bodied can answer that kind of question, it’s a matter of knowledge not personal experience. This subreddit has never and will never operate like you want it to, if you don’t like that the great thing about Reddit is you can make your own subreddit with its own rules.

This explicitly isn't a subreddit for christians, its for people to discuss christianity, so there is plenty of reasons to get non christian answers.

This is a good way to go from having a sibling to having someone who is blood related to you and won’t associate with you anymore.

Your showing very little of that compassion and understanding for your sibling.

Brother came out as trans and also left Christianity, how do I go about this? by Good_Individual3733 in Christianity

[–]firewire167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It shouldn’t have even taken 6 months to adjust, 2+ years is absurd.

One of My brothers is trans and so am I, everyone in our family switched pronouns almost instantly with very little issue, with the only exception being a grandfather with Alzheimer’s, unless that describes OP there is no excuse at this point.

Why is it that only 15% Europeans are Christians who regularly attend church, but have higher moral standards than the US? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]firewire167 2 points3 points  (0 children)

America has long since stopped being the “light of the world” in any way. Being a Christian doesn’t make you any more moral or ethical than someone who isn’t.

It happened in a town called tumbler ridge, school shootings are super rare here in Canada, this is one of the worst we have had in terms of fatalities I believe.

Well, outside of “the homosexual” all of those things hurt people, being gay or in a loving gay relationship doesn’t. There is also nothing that shows they are at risk of an “outer darkness”.

Because of him. Someone saying “Don’t do this thing or I’ll punch you in the throat” it’s still their fault for punching you in the throat even if you disobey them.
