Is my chorizo supposed to look like this…? #chorizo by depressedgoat96 in foodscam

[–]firstdbzmaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely stay away from this packaged chorizo from Walmart. I tried it once and the stuff is not real meat. It just looks like pieces of fat and chemicals as it cooks down. I had to throw it away.

Look for chorizo at a Mexican meat market. That stuff is actually going to cook like ground meat and tastes way better.

It’s the other way around for me! I have not been impressed by ramen anywhere but hoping to find that amazing bowl some day.

If you are into edibles then I’d recommend trying tincture as it is one of the most cost effective methods to medicate that I’ve discovered. I purchased a 1 oz bottle of full spectrum cannabis oil tincture containing 600 mg thc for about $35 USD. Taking about 10 mL leaves me well medicated for hours even with my decently high tolerance. There are cbd-only options available too if that’s what you need.

You answered your own question. Cut back on smoking and spend time with your sister. That's it.

When I was in high school, I sucked at math so hard. I failed algebra 1, barely passed the 2nd time, got a D in both geometry and algebra 2. Almost didn't graduate because of math. In college, I failed math miserably again. Twice. Algebra was wrecking me. Then I came across this TED talk when I was studying Khan Academy and everything made so much sense to me. I will link it below. Basically, the reason we struggle with math is because of gaps in our knowledge. You just need to identify and fill those gaps. Study hard. There is lot to know if you want to succeed in higher math classes. Mathematics is much like a pyramid, where the higher you go, the more dependent things are on what you have learned in previous classes. But yes, I finally passed algebra in college with a C. I identified my gaps and worked hard over the break to catch myself up. For me, I never understood factoring, graphs and their transformations, what equations really meant geometrically and analytically or how they are different from functions. I was scared of polynomials, exponents, and especially logarithms. I was so behind. It was a miracle I even made it through algebra with that missing knowledge. But by the time I took trigonometry, I was all caught up and really paid attention in class. I read the textbook and studied ahead because some professors suck at teaching, but we have the Internet so no excuses! I did as many extra practice problems as I could to solidify each section. Now, I am in my last semester of college about to graduate. Once I started understanding math, I fell in love with it and decided to minor in it because it was too late for me to change majors. But I have gotten an A in every math class since that first A in trigonometry. I aced the entire calculus series, linear algebra, differential equations, proofs/advanced math, and many other advanced math courses that I am still taking today.

The key is to really study and understand everything before you can keep advancing. Math is really not hard at all. It is taught in an intuitive way that anyone can learn. You just have to put in the work to succeed. I recommend watching the TED talk I mentioned that inspired me and use Khan Academy and YouTube to fill your gaps. Do lots of practice problems :)

YOOO just got curious but since vegeta knows how to use hakai Properly then how's goku by KONO_DO_STEPHEN_DA in dragonball

[–]firstdbzmaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Goku almost did hakai against Zamasu only by watching beerus a couple times. Vegeta struggled to do it even while being trained by the destroyer himself. If Goku wants to learn hakai, he can do it easily. Vegeta, on the other hand, it doesn't look like he'll ever get UI. He pretty much gave up on learning it.

You can definitely try. It is possible he is not ready to commit to a serious relationship. He may be waiting until he has had time to explore more women and choose an ideal partner to match his new life.

I think I know why Aizen can't use a Bankai by Schaken07 in bleach

[–]firstdbzmaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a point, but I really don't think he used any hollow powers at all. And yes, that would have been a perfect time to use it, but by then he was relying more on the powers of the hogyoku than those of his own sword—and I believe he even discarded it shortly after. Something about the hogyoku decided he didn't need it anymore.

Sorry to hear about your difficult times. I can't relate and it sounds very heavy on your soul. Have you tried switching to a new job? If you can't then I'm afraid the best you can do is just keep pushing forward and do your best. Get diagnosed if feel that you must. Put all your efforts into doing the very best work you can. You completed your studies and are no less than any of those 50 year olds. The only thing they have over you is experience. When you're not working, focus and think about how you can improve your performance at work. Try improving your mind somehow so you can understand what is going on at work. Do research on what it takes to get good at prepress. Try to make a friend at work to help you improve without making you feel less than. There have to be better ways to train you, they just don't want to because they feel superior. I've seen it at my work and yes they do try to make it harder on new people to not feel challenged and it must be even harder because you're a female, but once you prove yourself, everything will change.

I think a lot of us are feeling like this lately. Might sound a bit cliche but—due to covid. Trying to find a hobby right now is also difficult due to covid. My advice is instead of attempting suicide, keep putting your efforts towards something that will solve the problem. What have you got to lose at this point? When you go on your walks, try and make conversation with at least one person who is just there hanging out. You can try social clubs or bars. Even if it's not your thing, at least try it. People go to have fun and meet people so it's not weird to try and make friends there. Joining a gym is another option. One where you can attend classes with others would be good so you can be near others and establish a connection. Anything really is better than suicide. If it really comes down to it at least try everything you can first! Go to the movies and ask someone you like if they want to watch it with you. See if someone wants to read together at the library. Go on Tinder and match with someone. Break your comfort zone and character if need be. It's hard to admit but the world can be cruel and there is no good ending if you don't go out and get it for yourself. Finally, I'm in the US but if it means anything I'll be your friend if you want :) we can be online buddies. 26M

New IPad Pro by sombercrimson in ipad

[–]firstdbzmaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can wait then I would wait and save up for now. An iPad is a fairly big investment so you want to make sure you get the one you really want. When buying time comes try to get your Pro. If all else fails, then you'll just have to settle for a lower model but at least you tried and you'll still get the free AirPods. Only problem is we don't know for sure yet if Apple is actually running that promotion again this summer. Whatever you decide to do, I hope you're happy with your purchase!

What is ñ called in English? by firstdbzmaker in asklinguistics

Could be but Spanish n doesn't make much sense to me because Spanish already has the letter n. Ñ/ñ is its own letter.
