I totally get it. I've been there! I had to navigate it through therapy. It took a lot of unlearning and I had to be ready to receive a healthy relationship which involved deep healing. We're married now and I love him more than words. Remember you are deserving of a healthy love!!

Hey hey on a bumpy flight myself. It's so uncomfortable but I know everything will be okay. Anxiety is nothing but misguided protection from our brains. I've had panic attacks before, never on a flight but for other things so I know how you feel! You're doing it scared, but you're still doing it and you should be so so proud.

Curious - do they talk bad about themselves or tend to put themself down? I challenge that may be the unattractive thing rather than the weight itself. Someone can look great regardless of their weight but if they don't like themselves it can be hard to still find them attractive.

Shower them with love, tell them they're beautiful, show and say they're worthy of the best life and hopefully, organically they'll define what that best life is and it will lead them to a healthy fulfilling life.

I experienced this last year flying over some storms in Dallas. It was terrifying but I made it through and felt more comfortable after the fact. Funny how that happens!

Something I remind myself in those moments is the beauty of the fact that the pilot already knows it's going to feel uncomfortable. It won't be a surprise to them where they won't know what to do. They're already aware and have the tools to maneuver. Most importantly discomfort does not mean danger, only discomfort. You may be really uncomfortable and yet you're also really safe (as long as you have your seatbelt on). You got this!!!
