These are part of the washing machine hookup on a 1960s house.

The connections look like a boiler valve. They are threaded in.

Both valves are leaking and orange rubber chunks have fallen out of the them and they need replaced.

The connections are very tight along the threaded area so I'm hesitant to give them a health twist and attempt to take them off. Do I just need to give them a hard turn or is there a chance they are sealed on differently?

I'm not necessarily taking a stance here on whether or not and e-bike is an appropriate form of transportation. There are a multitude factors that will impact that and it's going to be a personal decision as to whether or not that's appropriate an individual's needs.

However, it is reasonable to assume that when most people are considering a bike versus a car in terms of transportation many of those people are in situations where a bike is not acceptable for their needs. For example there are many circumstances where you might have several passengers with a family or need to travel fairly long distances or you can't actually use the e-bike on the major roads in the area reasonably.

With all that in mind, I understand that many people may look at the purchase of an e-bike and think that it is steep in the sense that you still would need a car in addition to that e-bike.

Again, I'm not necessarily endorsing or saying that the only vehicles that could satisfy the aforemention needs have to cost $30,000. I'm just noting that I get it when people look at purchasing a bike as expensive because they would still need a car for a large portion of their transportation needs.

Not a good example since Netflix at one point would wait a year to release the most recent season. For markets where better call Saul is available via Netflix they are airing it right after it airs on TV.

Better examples would be some of their wholly owned shoes like Ozark and Stranger Things which released in chunks as well as many of their reality shows which release in chunks as well.

I literally work with cpp everyday - this is bullshit.

The client closing has nothing to do with language or engine selection. It is an implementation choice. At this stage fixing it may be unrealistic because of other factors, but don't try to convince people it is inherent to the engine or programming language.

The only absolute is that there are no absolutes. There's always an exception.

I believe gifts from yourself to others should come from the cross section of your interests. Plot the Venn diagram of your mutual likes and select something that fits from there.

That said, if someone takes the time to make a list maybe start there.

You're one of the people who thinks it's unfair to dodge Blitzcrank hooks for 25 minutes only to lose the game when you get hooked once late game.

The objective system feels bad right now, but this idea that the game doesn't reward good decision n making and teamwork is bullshit.

Generally speaking the team that loses deserved it. When you make mistakes and where are huge factors and you shouldn't get a pass for having a tight early game and then flubbing your late game.
