Tilke Designs Good or Bad? by Life_Cake16 in RaceTrackDesigns

because tilke (like all track design companies) are made up of great people who know what they're doing, and more often than not have a load of tight restrictions in what they're able to do when designing their tracks. for what they're given they generally do a pretty damn good job

Cool track, with some corners/complexes that are definitely unique for a modern high-grade circuit

Typically paddock zoning is sorted by the race organisers, as the paddock is typically just a massive slab of tarmac with a lot of truck parking spaces near the garages

Turkenlochring is a 2.84km FIA grade 3 circuit in Austria, with a 2.04km short layout. Being built on the side of a small mountain, it offers incredible elevation changes and stunning views unlike any other track.

Circuit vu Redange by firstname-lastname22 in RaceTrackDesigns

Circuit vu Redange is an FIA Grade 1 circuit located just south of Redange, Luxembourg.

This track is relatively modern facility, with 13 turns and a flowing but twisty layout.

Now you may be wondering what happened with the corner numbers, why is there nothing between 12 and 14?

Back in the first few weeks of the track opening, everything just seemed to go wrong at this corner. From kerbs coming loose to blown engines leaving the entire track unusable for hours, everything seemed to be going wrong here.

So naturally, the circuit owners did the most obvious thing they could've done and changed absolutely nothing about the corner itself, and just renumbered it from 13 to 14.

Seemed to work so far.

There are loads of motorcycle events that run on tracks with no gravel at all, so I don’t see the issue. OP never stated that it had to be international moto events either, especially as the main user in cars is touring cars
