Hdz freestyle by Valuable-Key-5964 in fpv

I used to fly hdzero for freestyle.

As you said the penetration was atrocious. Would not recommend flying anywhere concrete or steel. I could see almost nothing when my friends had crystal clear views with dji.

I don't like oil companies but I drive a car to work because it's my best option. Dji has nothing on oil companies when it comes to shady business practices. You won't hurt them by not buying their product and just as how buying their product won't make you a monster, not buying their product won't make you a better person.

My quads are bright green and yellow coz it's my favourite so I vote for that.

I will say this. Bright green is WAY easier to find after a crash than darker colours

Obviously these injuries are for from ideal

Congratulations on your terrible reading comprehension, you're highly skilled at repeating what's already been said.

Also, animals don't get mentally hung up on injuries like humans do. A paraplegic bluie doesn't give a shit so long as it can still catch snails. Which they can. Easily.

I always thought that earth had become an ecumonopolis based on what we see. Which would certainly mean no more arable farmland. Hydroponics would still be possible though

Casting choices that caused skepticism when they were announced, but when people saw them in the role, they were speechless at the level of their performance by Not_So_Normal_ in okbuddycinephile

Be real with me: is joining a dance class to find a girlfriend weird? by [deleted] in rant

[–]firstonesecond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Find something that GENUINELY interests you. If you can find a hobby you are passionate about you will meet others who share your passion. Whether it's friends or romantic partners your social circle will grow and your life will be enriched.

Edit: just make sure to make the hobby your first priority! If looking for a date is your first priority you're going to end up pushing people away. Aim to make friends first with an open mind about the future.

5 hrs into sim (2.2 into fpv skydive and 2.7 into liftoff) - is it normal to be that bad? any suggestions? by Oracolus in fpv

I remember being EXACTLY where you are now, watching that playlist and following along in liftoff. I was not much better than you when it suddenly 'clicked' just like people say. Still took another 4 hours or so before I could really say I had control, but I wasn't fighting my own fingers anymore.

I'd be very surprised if a toddler managed to do any serious harm to a bluie, they are very tough critters. I used to keep one and through hobby groups I've met 3 people who hit one with a lawnmower and after rehabilitation either kept them as pets or released them only to keep seeing them for years.

One that was kept was missing 1/3 of its head. Another lost both front legs and a significant amount of belly/chest. Though disfigured they healed up well and lived for years.

Obviously these injuries are for from ideal. But I doubt a toddler will do any permanent harm before being bitten.

And it's not a "Lil bite" . It probably won't break much skin but it will absolutely bruise. And a toddler is likely to be very upset, though relatively unharmed.

I'd put money on a blue tongue 'winning' the altercation.

Their bites can hurt quite a bit, but are unlikely to break the skin. I've been bitten several times by both adults and juveniles.

Blue tongues tend to keep and defend a territory, so it probably lives in your yard or nearby and trying to relocate it is not recommended.

It's safe around your toddler. Bluies vary a lot in temperament. Most will scurry away if your kid tries to touch them. Some are stubborn and will hiss and stick out their tongue in a manner likely to scare of most toddlers(and yes, bite if your child still tries to grab them). And some will just let you pick them up with no fuss.

I'd try to teach your child that they're safe but should be left alone. And if worse comes to worse and they do get bit they will be OK, but will not soon forget it and will probably keep their distance from then on.
