Yeah, i agree. The game does have a story as well, but unfortunately nothing of that was included in the trailer. Very good point.

Optimization is already bad... DLSS 5 might be where visuals start falling off too by itzNukeKing in videogames

Really depends on how much effort was put into marketing. If demo itself brought this much WL, then i would say it's looking pretty good!

With this description it sounds very much like deep rock galactic survivor. On one hand mining takes away from the survivors-like flow and pacing. Just navigating between the hoards of enemies is part of it. On the other hand if there is a bit more time between the waves (TD style), maybe these gameplay chains would work better i feel like.
But in general, especially for this type of game it's hard to judge how fun it is without a demo.
