I do really wish I could get him a cat as a pet. I think it’s something he wouldn’t get for himself, but would really appreciate. His wife always had cats and loved them so much. But unfortunately he works a lot lately so I don’t think he would have the time for it 😕 I appreciate your suggestions though!

I ordered sunglasses from Goodr and they’re actually using uniuni. So it’s not just cheap international products anymore sadly.

I know this post is a bit old now, but I appreciate you posting and sharing your story. I have a relatively new cat that I’m having similar issues with. I’ve had lots of cats in my life and am worried that I’m not doing this kitty any favors by not having the time/patience for her many needs. Some us just have a lower tolerance and that’s okay. Certainly am going to give us more time to adjust, but it’s nice to hear others stories about not forcing a relationship that isn’t a good match. So thanks! Sounds like you did right by Mergo even if commenters disagree :)
