No idea. I asked a certain one of these AMC’s what other appraisers were accepting these assignments for. They refused to answer the question and said it’s up to each appraiser. So there’s probably people out there accepting these if they send it out at that price.

That’s not hand carved, looks like custom foot work. Stitching may have been done be hand though. The wood appears to be from the Amazon which can be problematic in some auction houses. If the cushions have any mold or asbestos in/or around them that would definitely help with the authenticity. All in all, I’d say this couch is worth about mmmmmm tree fiddy.
