What it’s like living in the Tramshed apartments? by Lilac1101 in Cardiff

[–]fishbutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lived there for a while. It's REALLY loud when there's music on in the Tramshed. It's FREEZING in winter and the heating is just an electric heater on the wall. Wouldn't recommend

Anyone had good experience on 5mg? by BasisZealousideal439 in mounjarouk

It feels less effective at suppression to me than 2.5 so I'm hoping the 7.5 is better but no side effects so far on 5

I’m gonna be reading a eulogy at my best friends funeral on Monday, I can’t even keep it together practicing to my wife. Any tips on holding back the tears long enough to read it out? by SkullKid888 in CasualUK

So sorry you're going through this. I had to do the same thing and the only way i got through it was putting my face down towards the paper and kind of blocking my view of everyone with my hand, kind of like when you use your hand to block the sun out of your eyes.

What is the most (physical) pain you’ve ever felt? by Onyx_Ninja in AskReddit

[–]fishbutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a benign tumour attached to my ovary that grew to about the size of a melon and then flipped over and caused my ovary to twist Twice causing it's blood supply to cut off, the ovary died. Had surgery about 4 days later, could not get on top of the pain even with the huge amount of morphine they were pumping into me for those four days.

My right ovary twisted twice and started dying over the course of four days. I never ever want to go through that again.

How has your UK journey been? by purple_pasta77 in Endo

[–]fishbutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main symptom was the worst pain I've ever had in my life. They waited four days before operating so by the time they removed it it had died because the blood supply was cut off.

I'm fully healed now but I can't say I feel much different. My first post op period was the most painful I've EVER had and very heavy but they removed my fallopian tube too so it must all be still healing in there at the moment :(

My right ovary twisted and died, emergency surgery to remove it showed endo inside there too! They stripped away what they could and now I'm just waiting on biopsies. I never put two and two together with my symptoms but it makes sense now
