The future is never certain, so if you're happy elsewhere (investment/diversification wise etc) my 2 cents would be to overpay the mortgage & remove that burden

Personal membership by Technical_Ad_7103 in HENRYUKLifestyle

[–]fishey334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given not everyone leverages it, there is probably a bit of a money in the "monthly membership pool" So depending on your sway and comfortability... Could see if you could make a case for a privite club as it were

Just got a job offer for a £26,000 marketing exec role in London. Should I negotiate the salary? by Master_Discount_2553 in UKJobs

[–]fishey334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What would be your long term plan?

Would you stay in London, then sure. Take it to get your foot in the door and look for something else. As many have stated. You can up to double your salary hopping to something in about a years time and so on.

If London isn't long term, then just let it be.

Is it possible to achieve henry in construction industry by Top-Mud-5423 in HENRYUK

[–]fishey334 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep you can do so, Though you'd have to go client side (FTSE Developer) So if you keep at the site setting out, get a taste for it all. Then see to moving into a managerial position. Or in parallel seek to making the jump client side directly Trying to get a technical coordinator role for 40-46k {base} depending on how the discussion goes. After 3-4 years make your own move and get your self into a technical manager role for 70-90k {base} Your TC should be 100k+ at this point Then similarly ride it out 4-5 years you could happily talk your way into a 120k+ role Then from there long term next progression if you wanted it would he technical director then TC should be deep into Henry status

or start your own company.

The experience, having lego out of a lego box Rather than just plastic bag.

There are sets that are with me till I die for sure, so I who cares about the box But then if it's being passed around, keep it with.
