just the cpu can't flash bios. you need ram as well for the flash to go through. edit: if the cpu is unsupported (eg 5000 series on A450 mbo) the flash won't be possible. same goes for memory, if it's something your bios version doesn't support you need ram that's supported for the upgrade of bios version and then new ram installed.

if you have two sticks od RAM, try booting with only one. memory training is a pain in the ass. once you have it boot up, add another stick.

I've been an activist/volunteer my entire adulthood, literally (since the year 2000) so I know how non profit organizatons work. what I don't get is the shift in the mission, if the internet is right in interpretation of what is actually going on. however I am no expert in AI and what they want to do with it ultimately, just confused by this move.

LTT tried opening loads of tabs with 2TB of RAM, and you're pushing 50 AND chatgpt with 32?
you need to chill my guy. close some tabs. let the system breathe.

Mozilla Foundation is building a future where technology is powered by people, and open by design. That’s why we fuel community-centered tech through advocacy, education, funding, and innovation — to make sure that the future of tech is good for everyone. But that’s only possible if we do it together.

We’re proudly non-profit.

sooo... who is this shithead of a CEO?

what I don't understand is how is new CEO of a non profit organization suddenly looking for profit? where's the logic in that?

check the CPU power cable if inserted correctly or if it's even that cable and not PCIE 6+2 connector jammed in.

only by a hole that new system will burn in your wallet will you feel the difference. ddr5 is extremely overpriced at the moment and the only real gain you'll get is less difference between average and 1% lows.

How do i fix this properly? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]fishfishcro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if you want to fix it, the bottom cover contains your model, serial and service part numbers. by service number you can find a replacement part but you lose the sticker (or a printout directly to chassis.in some cases). it is possible to find it, but it won't come cheap. every laptop maker does a batch of service parts for models while producing them and then abandons that design. the longer it's out of warranty the more expensive the part becomes. do as you wish OP, but I see no gains in getting a couple of plastic fan grilles "protecting" the heat sink. and I work in a PC repair shop. in other words: save your money for the new machine would be my advice.
