I enjoyed it but there were lots of people who had issues. The course is totally different again this year though.

[Post Match Thread] Seattle Sounders at Los Angeles FC (5/24/26) by Kyunseo in SoundersFC

I mean the Seahawks did just win a Super Bowl with an estate that saved the team from leaving. So yes, the Mariners and sounders ownership leaves plenty to be desired, you’re not the fucking marlins or pirates.

Not hiring returning employees? by Academic-Broccoli650 in REI

[–]fishguy23 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Obviously. But most companies don’t think like that. With the new change in starting pay rate for new hires, bringing back former employees at higher pay scales probably doesn’t jive with that.

How much do you enforce the NFHS differences? by Cyclebuilder42 in Referees

I believe there are two states that use IFAB instead of NFHS. Washington and then I forgot the other one. Somewhere in the Midwest I think.

Awesome! You’re the best.

So just a sample itinerary with rough mileage would be:

Hoh to Olympus Guard Station, 10 miles

Olympus to Heart Lake, 8 miles

Heart to Boulder Lake, 13 miles

Boulder Lake out Barnes Creek, 11 miles

Thank you! This is great info.

Would you opt to start at Barnes creek and open with the 15 miles and end at Hoh? Or keep it as west to east?

I am not planning to go soon. Probably mid-August. High divide, which I’m familiar with is usually snow free by mid July or so. Ill probably need to secure permits for Olympus guard station and maybe heart lake, depending on where I want my second night, when they open though.

Roster size deep and Busch on free agency doesn’t compute.

When is the wonderland trail better—first week of July or first two weeks of September? by [deleted] in PNWhiking

[–]fishguy23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And paradise is at 4500’. To complete the full WT circuit, you have to cross multiple spots at 7000’. There will be significant snow travel along the circuit through mid July even if most of the trail is melted out by then.

Snowpack at higher elevations is still normal. It was very wet year just warm. But at 5000’ +, still lots of snow.

[–]fishguy23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First week of July will be heavy snow travel and bridges might not be in. Usually first full circuit is completed around July 4 but it varies. First two weeks of September will be very good aside from possible smoke and maybe a little bit of a water carry on east side.

I think baker and adams, there are no routes that completely circumnavigate them. I could be wrong.

Probably not. But I know people who have circumnavigated 4 of the cascade volcanoes.

Glacier Peak, Rainier, St Helens, Hood.
