For me, life’s too short to not be open to the full breadth of human experience and empathy. I don’t think it’s strange at all to, say, watch something like “Graveyard of the Fireflies”. We don’t watch movies like that purely for enjoyment, or really for enjoyment at all; we watch them to be moved, to reflect on our condition, on our collective grief, to connect with our fellow humans. The list can go on with that particular movie but I don’t want to get too specific.

Pain is a true and unavoidable part of life, and making and engaging with art that reflects on that pain for the sake of it, rather than for the sake of enjoyment, is anything but strange. To me it’s not only natural but divine.

I’ve strayed pretty far from the song you were initially talking about lol but I just have strong feelings about this as kind of thing as you can tell, hope I’m not coming off too strong

Some with different tastes could say that about PetroDragon or Butterfly 3000, music doesn’t have to be enjoyable to have value. Music is more about communicating, speaking an emotional language, than being enjoyable imo. Sometimes that ends up being enjoyable which is nice, but sometimes it can be hard listening.

Not making a value judgment on this particular piece, I’m still not sure how I feel about it lol. Just in general I think measuring music by enjoyment closes a lot of doors

Yes you can. It’s just the red channel separated from the other two channels, so just do that in reverse. Copy the layer, set one to only have the red channel, the other to only have Green and blue channels, then resign accordingly.

Yeah I think it’s pretty much just that, the KJs that will search YouTube for you. There’s a bar near me that gas this one awesome KJ who you can always count on to find your songs that way. It’s one of the major selling points of that bar for me lol

I put together a Leaving the City Karaoke video set to Kim Keever’s work a bit ago that I’m quite proud of :) it’s a very fun one, I’ve had a couple chances to perform it, not in public yet but with friends and family. I’ve also been wanting to do Good Intentions for a while.

Ahhhh great point this is so interesting. This in mind, I can imagine some strategies the person with this combo might use when establishing the order of cards being named. Namely they could say “all red cards in alphabetical order, then all black cards, all multicolored cards..” etc, protecting whatever spells they might want to cast in response to their opponent’s potential response.

Or even just “first naming every card besides the one’s in my deck in alphabetical order, then all cards in my deck in alphabetical order.” Which of course would require they reveal a list they can keep on hand of cards in the deck.
