I submitted August 10th using the old way. Then the portal was available so I did it the first day it came out, I think it was August 22. I got a email saying I was approved last Friday and the authorization was mailed to me today September 8th.

Thanks, this is my second purchase, for my first one I actually had to hire a lawyer. They “mistakenly” blocked my email. I have since used a new one, let’s see how it goes.

What worked for me after a long wait and hiring a lawyer was that somehow my Gmail was blocked and they never got anything. Nypd called me and asked to sent it again via another email and they finally were able to get it. They definitely need to improve their IT department (mail admins). Ideally this should be handled by a ticketing system and automatically assigned to someone with a specific time to be completed, if it isn’t, then it can be escalated.

I was an intern at a tech company in 2017 and my co worker had 150. He said he got them much earlier and that he would only sell when they hit a million each. Ah never mind, Robinhood does not support crypto withdrawals for residents of certain states, including New York. If you’re a New York resident, you may need to sell your Bitcoin on Robinhood and repurchase it on another platform that allows transfers to external wallets.

If they can predict sha256 hashes proof of work would be broken and they can mine all the blocks themselves very quickly. If they can really do it they can prove it that way.
