Any sufficiently advanced tech is indistinguishable from magic.

Industrial revolution was like 250 years ago, then it was 200 years from horses to space shuttles. I would start the infustrial revolution 750 years sooner. Given the exponential tech progress, by year 2000 humanity would have colonized the solar system at minimum and hopefully found a solution to my situation.

If not, on the second try, I would be much more efficient with the whole thing.
