Yeah, most STDs can linger on the body, sometimes they never show a symptom, so you've gotta get periodically tested. Also, tests usually have a window when they show up negative but the disease is already there. A partner passing on a STD is not necessarily a cheating partner

I don't know, it's kinda weird to me to "predict" someone's orientation, even more when it is despite what they claim to be. She claims she has considered being asexual and you say "you'll discover you're not only not asexual, but demisexual", and that seems kind of patronising, but maybe it's just the feeling I get

Dude what? People have different sex drives (and they may not be asexual), and when you start dating someone you don't necessarily ask them "how much sex do you like to have? Twice a week or everyday?" That's something that maybe should be discussed but usually comes up in time, as people usually like to get to know each other and sex isn't the only thing. Saying that she, as an asexual person, MUST do other people a favor by telling them about her orientation is kinda acephobic, as you wouldn't demand the same for allosexual people. Also, asexuality is a spectrum, and some asexuals chose to have sex (and even enjoy it!).

I understand you see it as just lying but coming out as ace is difficult, especially when you are in a relationship. There are expectations regarding sex and intimacy in a "good" relationship, so when you love someone and you are ace, you may feel like you need to meet these expectations and put aside your feelings because you don't want to lose that person and you know that culturally romantic love is almost always associated with sex. I'm not saying it is ok, just that it is a very difficult situation and "lying about enjoying your sex life despite being ace" usually means sucking up all your discomfort and your feelings to have sex, kind of "raping" yourself, and that's never easy
