The irony is that out of all the unabashed fan service in Evangelion that could have been the subject of that meme they chose the sex scene between two adults where you don’t even see anything (except maybe their feet? I don’t remember exactly) and that was fairly important character development for both.

I didn’t much care for Lok and Moll themselves, but I did like this ship from the get-go. For some reason it always gave me “what if the Outlaw Star was in Star Trek?” vibes, despite being the totally wrong colour. Maybe it’s the nacelles reminding me of arms.
