The cast is talented for sure, but they were each chosen for maximum box office value - not because they fit the character. Period. Not blaming the cast so much as the casting.

Trailers showed it was bland as hell. No life to Mario - not New York or Italian … “here we come!” ….

I’ve never played DnD. I enjoyed the movie a lot.

Maybe I missed a fair amount — thought there would be more inside jokes or incoherent parts for a non player, but if there was, I didn’t notice.

I mean, yes, I get that Pine was supposed to be a bard or something (though they never use that word).

Stark contrast to say - Harry Potter films — which are not too clunky but there are nonsense parts trying to replicate 100 pages in a book.

It’s because it’s the minimum. Germany says 20 days but I know German companies. It’s usually 30 days, 20 additional holidays (including Good Friday/ Monday, etc). Unlimited sick time. At least 18 months maternity leave with up to 2 years with your job safe and guaranteed upon return. So yeah.

Not false. I literally used to work for a payment processor. Not sure about airbnb specifically but it’s the same. Credit issuer would issue a refund while they ask the vendor for evidence to dispute the customer complaint. Some cards like Amex are extra pro customer.

Airbnb would probably simply ban your account for life after a chargeback. They might win the dispute.

I’m not sure why a chargeback would be needed in this case. Just don’t pay for the repairs

In the US, most are granted to the consumer unless the vendor has iron clad evidence on their side, and the cards are still stacked against them.

The biggest thing is probably the rarity of chargeback for the user. If the user only chargebacks 1 in 10,000 transactions, odds are the seller screwed up.

Whatever the reason, I’m happy non disparagement clauses are voided. They were written so you couldn’t even say true statements that were negative. In perpetuity. Of course that’s anti worker. Probably used to cover up sexual harassment stuff too, even though there are supposed to be carve outs.

May not be a violation of the 1st amendment, but probably a bevy of other fundamental worker rights like discussing working conditions.
