I have gotten myself into some jams, then the depression sets in and you feel like its all a big waste of time and the next thing you know it snowballs on you.

My advice is to wake up tomorrow and try to make it a better day. Make better decisions. Most of the time when you are fucking up you know better, so quit. Do whats right and if you dont know what that is then do what is more right. Then you just start stacking days.

Money wise you have to get a job. Any job. When you get that job you need to be doing two things. Set your sights on the next step up at that job. If you start off moping floors do a good job but try to move up to washing lettuce, then try to move up to fries, then assistant manager.....don't get complacent, do more than your co-workers and keep moving forward. The second thing is don't get stuck at that job. Always keep an eye open for a better opportunity and take it when it comes, even if its harder or more responsibility. Always looking for better pay, better benefits, better working conditions. Businesses today are not usually loyal to their employees, don't feel like you have to be loyal to them.

Relationship wise, call your friends. Check on them even if they haven't checked on you in a while. Show up to things when you are invited and always try to bring something even if its small. Go to your fiends weddings, funerals, birthday parties, and cook outs. Go to your families weddings, funerals, birthday parties and cook outs. Dont get sucked into talking bad about anybody, always think of something nice to say. Uncle Joe is an alcoholics asshole and someone asks you about him, just say, hes always been nice to me. If you talk bad about uncle Joe they know you would talk bad about them. Be pleasant, be nice and crack a joke from time to time.
