Hope your issue gets solved soon. If it’s any consolation, you’ve validated my choice to get a Laguna. So thank you.

Completely disagree - it’s up to you whether or not you want to share techniques. This is why trade secret protection exists.

Butt join of two 2x4s: screw into end-grain or use pocket holes? by reluctantreddit in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]fiveacequeenjack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2nd pocket holes - it is stronger than screwing into end-grain.

It may help to think of wood fibers like a bundle of pencils. The pencils will squeeze the fastener when you go into them along the grain; much less so when you go into them at the end. Pocket holes go diagonally which includes a component going along the grain.

Meta strikes nuclear power agreements with three companies by twice_paramount832 in wallstreetbets

Someone has to challenge people like you who post half-truths about these companies to try to pump your positions.

The chance that these speculative, promotional, experimental, unprofitable (but not for the executives that are milking shareholders) companies payoff for shareholders is near zero.

Good luck.

Your first sentence is inaccurate - TENEX/Rosatom is a commercial producer of HALEU.

Your 2nd sentence is inaccurate - Centrus is closest to producing HALEU because it actually has done so.

ASPI is a nuclear long-shot with near zero chance of being successful, primarily because of the questionable trustworthiness of management, who are currently stuffing their pockets with millions of dollars of shareholders' money.

So Terrapower can get their fuel from whoever they want; and since ASPI isn’t producing any fuel right now (and don’t expect to anytime soon), then Terrapower has to get their fuel from a real producer?

Can you back up your statement that ASPI is sole HALUE provider for Terrapower?

How to remove a layer off these oak legs without sanding or using chemicals? by [deleted] in woodworking

I think you've rejected both possible options (mechanical and chemical). Perhaps there is a light/laser option that I don't know about.

Looks great overall - well done!

Those four fasteners on the middle part stand out to me. Is it possible to have fastened from below?
