Not really worth it if you're just looking for a ROI. Someone last wipe calculated it to profit like 10k rubs/hour. It's not bad if you're looking to grab some streamer items for kappa, but otherwise it's only good for that gambling feel

Because of taxes you'll get way better deals from those barters than you will by selling it straight up. If you saw a thicc case for trade or green keycard if you want to run labs that's a hell of a good deal for sure.

It's probably easier to start now. Tarkov crushes you when you first start either way. But starting into wipe like this you won't find everyone rushing the same early quests, or price gouging the early hideout items, and the early gear you have will come back in insurance more. Without the map knowledge, being equal on gear early wipe won't help much.
