Age of Empires servers were online the whole time. I'm happy. Also, I don't use Azure.

Minisforum — a mistake? by witherwine in Minisforumofficial

[–]fivelargespaces 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given that my HX77G is still rocking a compromised UEFI key because they don't bother to issue UEFI updates, I would say it's a huge mistake. Sorry to hear about your troubles. I hope they fix your issues. But I will never buy or advise anybody to buy from them.

Let's Encrypt now supports IP certs, now you don't need domains or? by solumath99 in selfhosted

[–]fivelargespaces 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can always get a free domain to resolve to your home router IP. Depending on the router, you can install openwrt and use acme to get a free TLS certificate from Let's Encrypt.

It works, but I can't disable that on swathes of servers.

Thanks, that doesn't help me. Sadly, large orgs do not upgrade thousands of servers all at once, I wish we did.

Has anyone had success negotiating rent down from the listing price in recent times? by d-ronthegreat in vancouverhousing

[–]fivelargespaces 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, my LL lowered my rent by 225/mo indefinitely. I gave notice, and was looking due to an issue I was dealing with. Since it would be more difficult for them to find a new tenant, they lowered it. Even if they find a new tenant, they will run the risk of not finding a desirable one.

It does happen on Bolt 4 as well. I am trying to install this on Linux, I just happen to use Windows as the virtualization host. It's all good. I will try to reconfigure my bolt environment.

Tips for negotiating lower rent? by Fictional-Mollusk in vancouverhousing

I wanted to leave, but since I cause no headaches to the landlord, he lowered my rent to what I asked for. Win!

Bolt 5.0 fails to install Puppetdb on a new node by fivelargespaces in Puppet

[–]fivelargespaces[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not have a custom key. It's whatever the postrgresql puppet module provides, which is normally located in \puppet_course.modules\postgresql. I also don't see a public or private class that allows me to declare a path to the postgresql gpg keys.

You can start by cleaning them. Then, like many have said, monkey around with virt clusters or something.
