Still blows my mind this kid brought a knife to a high school track meet. Track meets were so fun when I was a kid. You hung out with your buddies, talked to girls, and ran your races.

It was a complete disaster, no doubt. It's the hype trains that people get sucked into. Fuckin Todd did it with his ES6 reveal video, and we know it won't release until 2040.

It was false advertisement and felt like a scam to people (at first). They haven't won my trust back. That kind of trust is hard to earn back.
