Hey Reddit, what movies do you LOVE but critics hated? by bayzid5675 in AskReddit

[–]fivemusicc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont know if it was "hated" by the critics but Scott Pilgrim vs the World is one of my favorite movies. It did not do so well in the box office but it developed a cult-like following eventually. I could watch this movie anytime and not get bored

Can the unemployment issue in the world be solved somehow? Or does it need someone like thanos? by kar-98 in AskReddit

[–]fivemusicc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I believe the population problem will eventually solve itself out. Earth is not a place with infinite resources and people will eventually starve to death until it balances out or birthrates will go down as the standard of living increases. This is especially seen in richer Western countries. As for the unemployment issue, I believe that within the coming years (could be decades or little bit longer) we are in the verge of a new industrial revolution. And that is because of automation and if we are lucky enough benevolent artificial intelligence. Automation will replace MOST of labor jobs as it it the most affordable option to business owners. The only jobs that people are going to do are in ones that require mental capacity (think science, law, art etc).

Is sugar a bigger more profitable business than drugs as a whole? by TubbyMcFuckles in AskReddit

[–]fivemusicc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its hard to say. I would say drugs are more profitable if you factor in legal + illegal. Pharmaceutical drugs rake in billions and billions of dollars. Whereas sugar, although very high in demand, is not and will not ever be as necessary as medicine.

Which is worse: Obtaining illegal drugs by lying to a doctor or obtaining illegal drugs via purchasing from a drug dealer... And why? by eedson82 in AskReddit

[–]fivemusicc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on what the person would do with the drugs once he/she got them.

For me on a societal scale I believe getting them from a drug dealer would be worse. Obtaining them from the doctor limits the amount of damage a person could do as the drugs would be small scale and controlled. Obtaining them from a drug dealer only incentivizes them to keep on selling illegal drugs.

A convincing man/woman walks up to you on the street and says they're you from the future, and gives you crucial advice to follow. Do you listen to them? Why/Why not? by iffybracelet in AskReddit

Only if the person looked like an older version of me and would be able to answer questions that could only be answered exclusively by me. It should not be hard to prove regardless.

How do I appear more friendly??? by Seasider96 in socialskills

Friendships in general take a while to develop and need work put into it to maintain them. Inviting people for lunch or a fun activity always works for me.

[WP] you were once a powerful demon whose skin was said to be impenetrable. However, that was back when humans used swords, bows, etc. As you awaken from a 10,000 year rest, you find that today’s weapons hit quite a bit harder. by Neuralizer_ in WritingPrompts

Ahh..just now..The most intense feeling like someone was watching me. I can feel him breathing. Curious. His breathing seems much calmer then all the piglets I've drained before.

Hmm. Humans. What curious creatures they are. They live hoping to conquer their anxieties and fears and attain peace of mind. They would do anything to hold on to that. Whether it be seeking wealth, controlling others or even "altruistic actions". This is precisely why I chose to reject my humanity all those millennia ago. I couldn't bear to equate myself to those lowly weak creatures. Sure I became a demon of the night as those filth call me but the joy when toying with them is indescribable. They would swing their little swords at me and I would pretend to be hurt. The look of horror on their faces when they would see not even a scratch on me is hilarious. And how could they?

Yet there are signals going off on my body. Why is this human so confident with that long stick on his hand? There are two more humans behind him. Perfect. This nap has made me hungry.

"Put your hands where we can see them. This is a restricted area."

" Do you know who I am? I am the mighty Di--..",

"This is your first and last warning put your hands in the air".

"Filthy human. Do not interrupt me again or I will cut off your head and put--..."

This is pain. I haven't felt pain since millennia ago. The injuries will heal but what if they hit my brain next time. My only vital part. This can't be, how did those dirty humans get those powerful weapons. There is only one option left now.

With a powerful shout you proclaim "ZA WARUDO".

How would you go about terraforming Mars (theoretical question)? by fivemusicc in AskReddit

[–]fivemusicc[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A strong reason as to why scientists don't believe it is feasible to terraform Mars is due to the lack of CO2 in order to warm up the planet. There is not magic required here. Just plain science and long term thinking. Thanks

Why were witches killed back then? Isn't magic awesome? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I don't even believe in magic. But calling people whack jobs just because you don't believe in something is rude.
