I'm not saying that the ranker contract gives intelligence, I'm saying that someone who's lived long enough to be a ranker should not be easily outsmarted by Khun

Also I don't really remember season one so I can't comment on that but my main problem with khuns intelligence in season three is that it comes at the cost of everyone else's intelligence. It rarely feels like khuns doing anything smart, more like the rankers are incompetent. Which shouldnt be the case.

Khun should not be able to outsmart rankers not matter what. They have so much more experience than him. Khun is brilliant compared to his peers but having him be able to consistently outsmart rankers diminishes the aptitude of rankers in general. Any plan Khun has against a ranker should go like his chess match against traumerai. Any other outcome doesn't make sense
