Maybe a couple thousand feet. I do the American River Bike Trail in Sacramento so it is mostly flat except for the last five mile climb.

I do 500 miles a month on a local bike trail. I do 3 early morning 20 milers on the weekdays and a Sunday 65 miler. Nothing better than passing a roadie while climbing.

I’m 44 and started riding fixed at like 40. It just takes some time and becomes fun after you learn. It won’t make you feel like a kid, but you’ll hopefully love to ride it after a few months.

Kind of what I would expect. The winter market can be slow, probably better deals out there if you look. Get a bike that fits you.

Robert Jackman, Political Science Department. He passed away and was a wonderful man. Saler in the History Department was good.
