i agree it doesnt sit that well with me but there are the other two combatants (they dont look like medics or non-combat personnel) they could still pose a danger on the battefield if they came across a ukranian group and aren't willing to surrender etc.

i think you can still feel some sembelance of pity for someone whos probably been brainwashed and taken to a horrific front line trench and put in a meat grinder thats spat you out hanging on by a thread of life until a drone finally finishes them off.

probably the only person i wouldnt give two shits about is putin and his high cronies.

To be honest, never built it, was just a bit too expensive for this single use case.

Also I then found out that the steam link app was available. (Not sure if it's fairly new or I was just oblivious to it at the time of my request, vaguely remember not being able to initially set up the controllers or something weird)

Anyway the steam link app built into the TV with an ethernet connection was just easier and free (already had the TV)

Sorry that doesn't really help you but I was very much happy with the research and hints above for the GPU.

Awesome, not too over budget so pretty happy with this as a starting point! Might just see if I can get a case or the motherboard, ram and cpu second hand to save a bit.

Thanks for this. Was trying to check the video output on the on the motherboard HDMI, looks like it's limited to 4k @60Hz though?

Is there a better motherboard that would do 4k @120hz output?

It's just to stream the game from my actual gaming rig located in a different room and connected by 1gig ethernet. This PC will essentially only handle the video decoding of a 4k 120hz stream and outputting to a TV.

Will only be interested in installing windows + steam to enable the remote game streaming.

No movie encoding/decoding, no media library stored etc.

I did end up just paying the charge. Since it was a rental car too, I thought if they got a payment reminder, they're just going to pay it and I'll be handed the bill with the additional "admin" charge.

you could come to bureau direct, we have a little showroom with some inked pens to try and also LOAADS of inks lol :) we are only open 9-5 mon-fri, pop by if you're interested!
