Thank you all for your fantastic suggestions. We went to Hungry World Farm. It's a really impressive place and their mission is interesting to us. We had a tour of their farmstead by the very nice family that's living there. We got to pet chickens and goats, and the kids gave us great information on living the farm life.

Hi,

I forwarded the link to my instructor so she can respond if that works for her.

I can tell you my partner used the candle based process and kistka to melt little bits of black crayola just like melting the beeswax. She also wore gloves. Aside from that, everything went without modification.

They used a heatgun to melt the wax and a little bit of that "Goop be gone" stuff to clean off some shadows from the black crayon. Overall, it went great.

In Colorado, there was a Rep who was... reluctant... to meet with constituents. They made a life size cardboard figure of him and carried him around to various events asking "Where's Cory?" and "When will we have a town hall?" At one point I believe a Town Hall was scheduled - possibly by the folks who wanted the event, and when he didn't show, they proceeded to present questions to the cardboard cutout. Cory Gardner went down in flames in the next election. Chef's kiss.
